Notes of Interest

  • We will sing at Harmony this Tuesday. Please have your child wear their Handpicked by God t-shirt. I still only have one driver for two children and myself for three. If anyone is able to help us out, I’d really appreciate it.

  • On Thursday, we share the songs we’ve been working on in our Easter program. I believe there may be some type of activity after the program is complete if you’d like to stay a little longer as a family. However, we are officially excused for the day at noon.

Christ Light

  • In 1 Samuel 28, 31 and 2 Samuel 1,5,9 we see how David showed love for Saul and Jonathan by being sad about their deaths and by being kind to Mephibosheth. God doesn’t want us to be happy when troubles come to others.

  • 2 Samuel 11 and 12 share how David deserved God’s punishment because he went to bed with Bathsheba and had Uriah killed.  We deserve punishment for our sins, but God forgives our sins for Jesus’ sake.  Talking about this lesson may bring up a great opportunity in the family to discuss God’s precious gift of marriage and its blessings.
