Grades K-8 New Student

Enrollment Process

New applicants in K5-8th grade or current families enrolling new students

  • Visit with the principal at the school before applying. Call or email the office to setup an appointment.

  • Complete the online registration (Link via email or on our school website).

  • Pay the $50 non-refundable application fee to the school after the visit. Applications from new students are accepted beginning in early January.

  • Complete a records request form and submit any additional information requested by the school.  This may include:

    • Complete records from previous school

    • Observation report or record from previous preschool

    • Records for any outside services (e.g., occupational therapy, speech)

    • Complete a Gesell Development Assessment (incoming kindergartners)

  • A second visit including your child will be requested, and an assessment of the child will take place

  • The school will notify you if your application was approved once all materials have been received and assessments completed.  Applications begin being approved in mid-February and then are approved on a rolling basis with updates at least once per month.  The Education Committee of Abiding Peace Academy is the final authority on all enrollments.

  • The full application fee ranges from $200-$350.  If your application was accepted, sign the tuition and scholarship agreement online and submit payment for the remainder of the application fee within 30 days to hold a spot for your child. (Creation of TADs account required.)

  • The parents of each new student must attend a one-time informational session with the pastor.  The course is offered regularly and can be completed anytime after being accepted, before the beginning of the school year.

Non-discrimination Policy

In keeping with the scriptural truth that the Lord has directed his church to proclaim the gospel to all nations, and, since God has not restricted the ministry of his church to any one particular group, Abiding Peace Academy cannot and does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, disability, or national/ethnic origin in its admission procedures, educational policies, scholarship grants, and co-curricular programs.
