Welcome to Kindergarten
Classroom News and Notes
Good Afternoon!
I hope you enjoyed the beautiful fall weather this weekend. It looks like we're in for a great week, too.
The students at APA have been working on Christmas ornaments for our school tree, which will be a part of the Festival of Trees. The APA tree goes up this week and is themed "Handpicked by God". Check it out, as well as the many other beautiful trees at the Hyatt Hotel downtown Greenville. The Kindergarten and first grade classes will take a field trip down to the hotel,on Friday, December 12. We will visit our tree and then participate in a scavenger hunt through the other trees. Look for a permission form after Thanksgiving, but please put it on your calendars now. Thanks!
If you have not returned your Children's Christmas Service participation form, please do so this week so I have an idea of how many students to plan for.
Here's a peek at our week:
Christ Light Stories - "The Plagues" (Exodus 7-10) and "The First Passover" (Exodus 11-12)
