Our Teachers
ELEMENTARY SCHOOL
Zach Seeger (Principal and Elementary Teacher, Grades 6-7)
Mr. Zach Seeger holds a bachelor’s degree in elementary education and a master's in education with a leadership emphasis from Martin Luther College.  He has over fifteen years of experience in teaching and administration.  He has been at Abiding Peace Academy since 2014 having previously at schools in Hemlock, MI, Milwaukee, WI, and Wuhan, China.  He looks forward to talking to you about Christian education at Abiding Peace Academy.
 
Karen Rodewald (Director of Early Childhood Ministry and Elementary Teacher, Kindergarten)
Mrs. Karen Rodewald holds a bachelor’s degree in elementary education from Martin Luther College and is an experienced musician. She has taught for over 25 years,  with 12 of those years teaching preschool. She is also trained and certified to administer the Gesell Developmental Observation assessment.

Kindergarten Teacher's Aide:  Mrs. Mandy Mullins
Zach Bloomquist (Elementary Teacher, Grades 4-5)
Mr. Zach Bloomquist holds a bachelor's degree in elementary education with a coaching minor from Martin Luther College. He has had experience with multigrade classrooms in various grade levels. He is in his second year of teaching at Abiding Peace Academy.  He is currently pursuing a master's degree in education. 
Morgan Schmidt (Elementary Teacher, Grades 2-3)
Mrs. Morgan Schmidt attended Martin Luther College and graduated with a degree in elementary education. She student taught in Springfield, MN and New London, WI working with various age groups. After graduation, Morgan was assigned to teach 2nd grade in Milwaukee, WI while her husband finished his second year at Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary. This will be her 2nd year teaching and first year at Abiding Peace Academy. 

 
Daniel Granberg (Elementary Teacher, Grade 1-2)
Mr. Daniel Granberg holds a bachelor's degree in elementary education from Martin Luther College. He is in his fourth year teaching at Abiding Peace Academy.  He has previous experience working with a variety of grade levels and schools.  Mr. Granberg also holds an art camp each summer and teaches piano lessons at APA. 
 

PRESCHOOL
Kailynn Whitworth (Preschool Teacher, K4, 4-day class):  Mrs. Kailynn Whitworth attended Martin Luther College and graduated with a bachelor’s degree. Over the last couple of years she taught at our sister school, Sola Fide Academy, in Lawrenceville, GA as the 4K/5K teacher. This last June she married her husband, Matt, and they live in Liberty, SC with their 2 dogs. This is her first year at Abiding Peace Academy and her 3rd year teaching.

K4 teacher's aide:  Mrs. Marge Krueger
Jill Culp (Preschool Teacher, K4, 3-day class): 
Jill Culp holds a bachelor's degree is Early Childhood Education from John Carroll University and a master's degree in Literacy from Furman University. She taught 3 and 4 years olds in multiple preschool settings for a couple of years before taking a nine year hiatus to have three children. This is her first year as a lead teacher at Abiding Peace, but she has previously been a teacher's aide in the K2 and K3 classes.

K4 teacher's aide: Mrs. Pam Miller
Laurel Warner (Preschool Teacher, K3): Laurel Warner moved from Indiana to the Greenville area with her husband and two daughters (ages 2 and 4) in the summer of 2021. Laurel has been teaching since her first 3K class in 2010. After years as a full-time teacher, she took a break to raise her own girls but continued teaching preschoolers (ages 3-5) in her church's Sunday school. This will be her first year teaching at Abiding Peace Academy.

K3 teacher's aides: Mrs. Nicole Sanders and Mrs. Amy Dotson
Becky Seeger (Preschool Teacher, K2)
Mrs. Becky Seeger holds a bachelor's degree in elementary education from Martin Luther College with an emphasis in social studies.  After teaching for several years in elementary schools, she took a hiatus to raise her family. This is her fifth year teaching preschool at Abiding Peace Academy.  She also teaches piano lessons and Chinese classes at APA.
