Our Teachers
ELEMENTARY SCHOOL
Zach Seeger (Principal and Elementary Teacher, Grades 5-6)
Mr. Zach Seeger holds a bachelor’s degree in elementary education from Martin Luther College and has fifteen years of experience in teaching and administration.  He has been at Abiding Peace Academy since 2014 having previously at schools in  Hemlock, MI,  Milwaukee, WI, and Wuhan, China.  He is currently pursuing a master's degree in education.  He looks forward to talking to you about Christian education at Abiding Peace Academy.
 
Karen Rodewald (Director of Early Childhood Ministry and Elementary Teacher, Kindergarten)
Mrs. Karen Rodewald holds a bachelor’s degree in elementary education from Martin Luther College and is an experienced musician. She has taught for over 25 years,  with 12 of those years teaching preschool. She is also trained and certified to administer the Gesell Developmental Observation assessment.

Kindergarten Teacher's Aide:  Mrs. Mandy Mullins
Zach Bloomquist (Elementary Teacher, Grades 3-4)
Mr. Zach Bloomquist holds a bachelor's degree in elementary education with a coaching minor from Martin Luther College. He has had experience with multigrade classrooms in various grade levels. He is in his first year of teaching at Abiding Peace Academy.
Laura Bloomquist (Elementary Teacher, Grades 2-3)
Mrs. Laura Bloomquist holds a bachelor's degree in elementary education from Martin Luther College. She has had experience in clinical and student teaching with various age levels and multi-grade classrooms. This is her second year teaching at Abiding Peace Academy. 
 
Daniel Granberg (Elementary Teacher, Grade 1)
Mr. Daniel Granberg holds a bachelor's degree in elementary education from Martin Luther College. He is in his third year teaching first grade at Abiding Peace Academy.  He has previous experience working with a variety of grade levels and schools.
 

PRESCHOOL
Mary Leventis (Preschool Teacher, K4, 4-day class)
Mary Leventis holds a bachelor of science degree from Winthrop University in South Carolina, and has completed a number of graduate education courses at the University of North Carolina Charlotte. She has worked with children of all ages in tutoring and volleyball, including at the collegiate level. This is Mary’s second year teaching K4 at Abiding Peace Academy.

K4 teacher's aide:  Mrs. Marge Krueger
Robyn Smarr (Preschool Teacher, K4, 3-day class, Elementary Teacher, grade 5-6 Language Arts)
Mrs. Robyn Smarr holds a bachelor's degree in elementary education from Longwood College in Virginia. She has over seventeen years of experience working with children of all ages in various roles, including twelve years teaching elementary and middle school in both Virginia and South Carolina.  Robyn has been part of the Abiding Peace Academy family as a parent and MMO teacher, and she is excited to be in her fifth year as a teacher in the K4 classroom.

K4 teacher's aide: Mrs. Liz Shafer
Carolyn Dahms (Preschool Teacher, K3)
Mrs. Carolyn Dahms has 13 years of experience working with K3 and K4 students.  Before moving to South Carolina, she worked at Faith Lutheran Preschool in Grand Blanc, MI. This is her seventh year at Abiding Peace Academy.


K3 teacher's aides: Mrs. Pam Miller and Mrs. Kelly Ramos
Becky Seeger (Preschool Teacher, K2, Tuesday/Thursday)
Mrs. Becky Seeger holds a bachelor's degree in elementary education from Martin Luther College with an emphasis in social studies.  After teaching for several years in elementary schools, she took a hiatus to raise her family.  During that time she has been involved with several moms and toddler programs. This is her fourth year teaching at Abiding Peace Academy.

K2 teacher's aide:  Mrs. Mary Frey
Sarah Drallmeier (Preschool Teacher, K2, Monday/Wednesday)
Mrs. Sarah Drallmeier has several years of experience working with preschool age children. Prior to coming to Abiding Peace Academy she was a Nanny and worked in many children’s programs such as VBS and Sunday school.  Sarah started at APA 3 years ago as a K4 aide. During this time she had two beautiful children. She is glad to be a part of the APA family as a staff member and parent. Sarah is excited to be in her new role as a K2 teacher and looks forward to helping educate our little ones.
